Sultan Families, please visit our distance learning website at bit.ly/sultanadistance At this website, your student can find information about their classes (including Google Classroom codes), our schedule, and more. The first day of school is Thursday 8/6, students are expected to be available for live meetings with their teachers starting at 8:20. If you have not exchanged your textbooks or need a Chromebook repair, we will be open Wednesday 8/5 from 11-2 in Sultan Hall. Thank you!

For the 2020-2021 school year, it is very important you update your student's information via the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus before the first day of school on 8/6/20. If you have never logged into Infinite Campus, you will need an activation key. This activation key was mailed home with report cards. If you are unable to locate your activation key, please contact our office at 760-947-6777. Textbook collection and distribution of new textbooks along with repairs to your Chromebook will take place starting Monday, August 3rd in Sultan Hall.
Seniors: Monday 8/3 from 8:00-11:00
Juniors: Monday 8/3 from 11:00-2:00
Sophomores: Tuesday 8/4 from 8:00-11:00
Freshman: Tuesday 8/4 from 11:00-2:00
Please make arrangements to attend during your designated time slot. If you are not able to attend your scheduled time, we will be open from 11:00-2:00 on Wednesday 8/5 for all grade levels. Don’t forget to bring your textbooks from last year with you. Please park in the lot off Sultana and enter the back door into the Multipurpose Room (Sultan Hall). Face coverings and social distancing are required.

Textbook pick up and distribution
Hi HUSD parents and students. This is a quick reminder about the 2020-2021 Online Registration Update that all HUSD parents/students must complete before our planned return to school in August 2020. Please note that this online process simply replaces the hard copy packet that we normally would send home with your student.
If you have already completed the 2020-2021 registration update process kindly disregard this post. If you have not completed the process your child should have received an email in their school issued GMail account titled “2020-2021 Online Registration Update Info” from “no reply” on Monday, June 22nd. This email has step by step instructions on how to complete the update process. Please review the email with your child and complete the process as soon as possible.

Please remember that school response times are increased because of both the COVID-19 safety measures and summer break.
Following the state order, we will not have volleyball tryouts today and they will be postponed until further notice.

Athletics Tiered Reopening Guidance
Mission: HUSD recognizes that athletics programs are not only essential to the learning of all students involved, but also a key to lifelong success for many of our students. As such, HUSD is committed to following federal, state and local health agency guidelines during our tiered reopening of our athletics programs while minimizing the risk of transmission of illness to students, families, coaches and the community. The HUSD tiered reopening of our athletics programs will be guided by what is feasible, practical, acceptable, and tailored to the needs of the community so that we may help our student-athletes participate in these highly meaningful and essential programs in the safest way possible.
